AREA

Governs first priority for sequencing, slotting, allocation based on the on the which locations will be allocated first or slotted first or allocation based on the work type assignment.

• PRM → this area defines locations that are utilized as pick faces or smaller pick /storage locations. The work types assigned to this area is SINGLE and DESCRETE

• BLK → this area defines locations that are utilized for case/pallet storage. The work types assigned to this area is Order pick and Pallet Pick.

Location Types

Governs what type of UOM can be slotted into the location and/or what UOM can be allocated from the location.

• PRIME → indicates that only each quantities can be picked from this location

• CASE → indicates that only full cases can be picked from this location

• PALLET → indicates that only full pallets can be picked from this location
