From March 1st 2023 all Air Cargo transiting or importing to the EU will be subject to ICS 2 Entry requirements (more information can be found here)What must we do to remain compliant? . In effect, Carriers must be provided with House-level information for entry purposes.

Specifically, this operators must ensure EORI Numbers and HS Codes must be supplied are provided to Air Carriers so that they can complete ICS 2 entries accurately . Where Air bookings are managed through CW1, this information can be supplied via eAWB automatically.

For purposes of compliance, Great Britain, Switzerland and Norway are treated as being in the Eurozone along with true EU member countries.

EORI Numbers

For all Direct Air Consolidations entering or transiting the EU, GB, Norway and Switzerland the Shipment Consignee must have a valid EORI on their Organisation Recordrecord

For all other kinds of Air Consolidations entering or transiting the EU, the Shipment Receiving Agent must have a valid EORI on their Organisation record

EORI numbers are registered to the Organisation under Details → Config → Registration Numbers / Codes where staff will need to enter:

  1. Country of Issue

  2. Type = EOR

  3. EORI Number
