Please follow the instructions below to set up a Shopify app giving Seko access to your Shopify account to enable returns and exchanges.

  1. Login to Shopify Store Account at https://www.shopify.com/login

  2. Go to Apps and click on Manage private apps link

  3. On Private apps page click on Create a new private app button

  4. Enter the below information and set permission levels

    1. Private app name

    2. Emergency developer Email

    3. Admin API(Permissions)

      1. Store content like articles, blogs, comments, pages, and redirects - Read Access

      2. Customer details and customer groups - Read Access

      3. Gift cards - Read and Write Access

      4. Inventory - Read Access

      5. Orders, transactions and fulfillments - Read and Write Access

      6. Products, variants and collections - Read and Write Access

      7. Automatic discounts and discount codes - Read Access

    4. Select "2021-01" as the Webhook API version

    5. Do not check "Allow this app to access your storefront data using the Storefront API"

    Note: Gift Card API access is available for on Shopify Plus only. Contact Shopify Plus Support to enable this API resource for your store.

  5. After submitting the private app form, user will be redirected to the success page with private app credentials. Note down API key, API password and Shared secret key, this should be provided to Seko.
