This guides details how to set up a new payment gateway for Stripe

Add the Stripe Account

  1. In Omnireturns

    1. If the payment account is only going to be used by one retailer then you can add it under Manage > retailer > select retailer > Own payment gateway

    2. If that account is going to be used by multiple retailers then it should be added under

      1. OmniReturns > Settings > Payment Gateway Settings >

      2. select “Comany Wise Payment Gateway Setting”
        All retailers under that company will have access to the account

      3. Select “Add Payment Gateway Setting” at the top of the screen

  2. Enter fields per below

    1. Root Gateway Name: STRIPE PAYMENT INTENTS API

    2. Sub Gateway Name: retailername-live/test e.g. Return to the Fold - Live

    3. Monthly Fees: 0

    4. Monthly Fees Type

      1. Domestic

        1. %:1.6

        2. $: 0.3

      2. International

        1. %:2.9

        2. $: 0.3

    5. Active: select Live if production account otherwise select Test

    6. API URL: https://api.stripe.com (used for both live and test)

    7. Secret key: from retailer

    8. Publishable Key: from retailer

    9. Publish:

      1. Yes - if ready to go live

      2. No - if not ready to go live

  3. Click “Update”

Update payment account in Retailers hubs

  1. Go to Manage > Retailer > enter Retailers name in Search > Click Search

  2. Click “Edit” on selected retailer

  3. Click “Assign Hub”

  4. Under each Hub update fields

    1. Gateway Type: OWN payment gateway

    2. rootGateway:

      1. If company: select company created

      2. If retailer wise: SEKO Omni-Channel Logistics | STRIPE_PAYMENT_INTENTS_API

    3. SubGateWay: Select account just created

    4. Repeat for each hub

  5. Scroll to the bottom, click “Save and Next”

Test Payment is working

  1. Go to the retailers returns portal

  2. Enter in an order number and email address (If you do not have one from the retailer, go the transaction report and get one from an existing return)

  3. Go through the portal till the payment page

  4. Enter in random card details

  5. Click “Pay Now”

  6. If error message comes up Declined, the update is working. Any other error, please review set up or contact support and revert payment gateway back
