Areas

Areas, similar to zones, drive behavior patterns in the warehouse.

Current Area Options:

• BULK (BLK) - a physical location which indicates the facilities larger/bulk locations

• PRIME (PRM) - a physical location which indicates the facilities pick face locations

• PUT-AWAY (PAW) - a virtual location that holds inventory that has been received but not yet put away into a physical inventory location.

• Pack (PAK) - a virtual location that holds inventory which has been picked and packed, but not yet shipped

• Ship (SHP) - a virtual location that holds inventory which has been shipped but the ‘Shipment Closeout’ or ‘Close Truck’ processes have not yet been executed.
