Understanding and using the OmniParcel tracking portal

 

The OmniParcel tracking portal shows all the latest tracking events for a particular consignment

 

  1. Our tracking portal is available at https://track.omniparcel.com/ and allows a user to track the progress of a parcel. NOTE: Tracking is only available no more than 6 months old.

  2. The tracking portal is separated into 8 main sections

    1. Logo

    2. Origin and destination details

    3. Milestone stages

    4. Campaign - if activated

    5. Subscribe to tracking updates

    6. Travel history

    7. Questions

    8. Parcel summary information

  3. Each section explained:

    1. Logo: If you have customised your own logo in the track & trace campaign, this is the logo that will be displayed here

    2. Origin and destination details: This will show the tracking number, consignment creation date, consignment origin city/state and country, the delivered date once the parcel has been delivered, and the destination city/state and country

    3. Milestone stages: Milestone stages show where in the journey a parcel is. These are different for domestic and international parcels:

      1. International:

        1. Allocate/ready: Consignment has been created and manifested by the retailer (site manifested)

        2. International transit: Consignment has arrived at a SEKO warehouse and has been scanned and consolidated for international transit

        3. Customs: Consignment has arrived in the destination country and is currently undergoing customs and clearance

        4. Picked by delivery courier: The end-mile carrier has received the consignment

        5. With delivery courier: The end-mile carrier has received the consignment and the parcel is out for delivery

        6. Exception: There is an exception with the consignment, see tracking events for further details. Examples include but are not limited to: undeliverable, return to sender, damaged etc

        7. Delivered: The parcel has been confirmed delivered to the recipient or to an approved drop off location

      2. Domestic:

        1. Allocate/ready: Consignment has been created and manifested by the retailer (site manifested)

        2. Picked by delivery courier: The end-mile carrier has received the consignment

        3. With delivery courier: The end-mile carrier has received the consignment and the parcel is out for delivery

        4. Exception: There is an exception with the consignment, see tracking events for further details. Examples include but are not limited to: undeliverable, return to sender, damaged etc

        5. Delivered: The parcel has been confirmed delivered to the recipient or to an approved drop off location

    4. Campaign: If a tracking portal campaign has been configured, the wording and image as specified in the campaign is displayed below the milestone stages

    5. Subscribe: If you have configured a track & trace email, the end customer is given the option to subscribe to tracking updates via email

    6. Travel history: This displays every tracking event for the parcel

    7. Questions: If the end customer has questions about their parcel, this section has instructions on where to get further assistance

    8. Parcel summary information: This shows information such as the final mile carrier, number of packages within the consignment, tracking numbers, total weight and cubic weight of the consignment.
