CargoWise Certification Relaunch Program

Project Overview:

• To improve our operational standards.

• All users to complete CargoWise Certified Operator (CCO) Certification.

• 6 months to complete CCO Certification (All staff to be CCO certified by December 31, 2023)

Why:

• Enhance your understanding while expanding your knowledge of CargoWise to improve day-to-day operating procedures.

• Increases resilience to staff departure that would otherwise jeopardize SEKO CCLP status.

• Introduction to CargoWise for new employees.

Operation Program Overview:

• The Operator Certification program covers three courses – 

  • Two are mandatory: Core General Functions and Operational Jobs – a total of 5 exams. 

  • The 3^rd course will be an elective of your choice:

    • Forwarding

    • Customs

    • Warehouse

    • Transport

    • Liner & Agency

  • We do encourage users to complete the course Forwarding (10 tests) and/or Customs (5 tests), whichever one you associate with more frequently in your daily work function.

• All courses come with videos, transcripts, and pdf materials – videos average about 3-5 minutes.

• Exams are multiple choice, with an average of 10 questions. You can retake all exams as many times as needed.

• We will be hosting webinars to show procedures and processes as well as answer any questions you might have.
