Cartonization, allows the JASCI to pre-determine what size shipping container(s)/carton(s) the order will be packed into based on the product master’s weight and dimensions. Cartionization occurs after allocation and before picking an order.
Cartonization occurs after JASCI has assigned a work type and has allocated the stock to fulfill the order. JASCI utilizes the product master’s data weight and dimensions (in cubes) and compares the stored data of the shipping container(s)/carton(s).
