Requesting New Users

The following should be provided when requesting a new user login to the ServiceNow Desk.

  • First and Last Name

  • SEKO/Customer email address - Personal emails cannot be used as an alternative.

  • Phone Number - if applicable, provide the users phone number.

  • User Role - Reference the 3PL Central User Roles chart, to determine what role the user will need access to.

  • Assigned Customer - If the user is for a customers employee, provide the customers name.

  • Assigned Warehouse - The warehouse(s) the user will need access to

Users who are inactive for 14 days will have their account deactivated.


Creating New Users

The following is a standardized guide that should be followed when creating a new 3PL Central user.

Login/Username

The username assigned should either be the users first name initial and the full last name (i.e John Doe; JDoe) or the users full name and last name initial (i.e John Doe; JohnD)

Password

A specific password format is not necessary.

Account Name

Include the users legal first and last name only. Middle names and nick names should be included in account name field.

If the first or last name contains a hyphen, include the hyphen. (i.e. Billy-Joe)

If the last name is two separate words, combine both words together.

(i.e deLeon; deLeon)

Email Address*

If the user is a SEKO employee, use the employees SEKO email address.

Standard SEKO email address format: john.doe@sekologsitics.com

If the user is a temp. worker from a hiring agency, the temp worker will need a SEKO logistics email address.

If the user is a customer, use the customers company email address.

For security purposes, do not use the users personal email address.

Phone Number

If applicable, enter the users phone number.

User Access

Determine and select the user type.

Role

Determine and select the appropriate role the user will need access to.  

Assigned to Warehouse

Determine and select the warehouse(s) the user will need access to.
