This method can be used to release sales orders from hold. These orders will then be visible in the DC and ready to be picked. This is related to the wholesale and retail environments; build and then send. This is NOT an appropriate use for backorders |
System behaviours
- Sales Orders in "hold" will deprecate stock but will not push the order to the DC for picking.
- You cannot put an order on "hold" when there is not the available inventory.
