Suppliers and Ship To data is used in conjunction with inbound and outbound system data. There are multiple ways to view, create and manage these codes from SEKO360:
- Viewing Suppliers and Company Codes
- Creating a code via the SEKO360 interface
- Adding an address to a code
- Editing an existing codes address
The use of the suppliers and "Ship To" addresses are listed below.
Suppliers
These are the SupplierCode specified in the ASN uploaded through the Integration Hub. These do not have to be created on SEKO360, as they can be created "On the fly" by specifying the code within the Load Product Masters or Load Product Master Updates Integration Hub Service (See Integration Hub documentation).
"Ship To" Company Codes
Ship To Codes are used for Sales Order creation. There are multiple ways to create Company Codes:
- If 'on the fly' company code creation is activated, the code can be specified in a sales order, using the Load Sales Orders service. This will create the code on the system the first time it is used.
- Through Load Companies, when creating CompanyType 'Ship To'.
- Through the SEKO 360 interface
The Company description in the Load Sales Order message is not updated every time. The system is using the company description of the company code specified in the very first setup through any of the methods above.
Every time you have a new company description, you will need to use a new company code (unless you can edit the existing code). To view all the company codes and company descriptions created on the system through any of the methods highlighted above, follow the guides in this section.
