A Manifest is a document that provides a consignment summary. It includes detailed information about the dispatches and is used to ensure proper documentation and compliance in the shipment process.

Navigate to Logistics → TMS → To Manifest

Shows Number of Dispatches (per Client and per Carrier) that is scheduled for Manifest.

Shipments created after the local cut off time can only be manifested on the next scheduled manifest day.

See notes on Manifest Schedule.

To Manually generate the Manifest document, Click the “Manifest” icon on the left of Client column on the grid.

Once successfully generated, go to Manifest History menu where you can print the manifest.

Manifest Schedule

Admin user can set Manifest schedule per carrier provider on this Menu:

Admin → Carrier Providers → Manifest Schedule

  • Local Cut Off Time: Shipments created on the TMS after the local cut-off time will be scheduled for the next manifest day.

  • Local Clean Sweep Time:

Purpose: The clean sweep process ensures that all eligible shipments are included in the manifest, preventing any oversights or missed shipments.

Timing: Typically, the clean sweep process runs at a specific time each day (e.g., 6 PM). It collects all shipments created since the last manifest and prepares them for inclusion in the next manifest.

Avoiding Carrier Clean Sweep: Carriers often have their own internal clean sweep processes. If a shipment is not manifested by the TMS before the carrier’s clean sweep time, the carrier’s system may automatically manifest it. To prevent this, the TMS performs its own clean sweep before the carrier’s process kicks in.

Automatic Manifesting: During the TMS clean sweep, any shipments created since the last manifest (up to the specified cut-off time) are automatically included in the manifest. This ensures that carriers receive accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Configuration: Admin can configure which days are allowed for manifesting, local cut-off time, clean sweep time, and Print Time. This allows customization based on Client and Carrier requirements.
