3. OmniParcel Case Creation API
In OmniParcel if the carrier and retailer is configured to handle High Value DDU packages, when the hub operator scans a parcel, a DDU pop-up will appear which when accepted, will trigger the case to be created in OCP via the OP Case Creation API.
You can see the API logs for case creation in OCP > Settings > API Trace > Filter: Request Type = Case Creation.
Cases will be created in Created Status, there is an automatic job which runs regularly and will pick up all the Created cases, send the Duties Due email and update the Status to Pending
If no email address is received from OmniParcel, the case will be created in Status Draft. Someone will need to manually add the email address to this case.
