Carriers - OmniReturns

Carriers must be set up in OmniParcel per standard process.

Carriers can also be set up in OR, this is not mandatory and is not required for every carrier. Carriers are set up in OR to

  1. Use a customer friendly name e.g. OP may call the carrier “DHL v4 test” which is not customer friendly, in OR you can rename this to “DHL via USPS”

  2. Set carrier specific return instructions e.g. for Hubbed the standard instructions to drop off the return parcel to a post office do not apply

 

Setting up a carrier in OmniReturns

  1. CARRIER NAME (mandatory)
    Please add the customer friendly name you would like to use, this is what will display to customers under Select Services

     

  2. OMNIPARCEL I.D (mandatory)
    please enter the carrier ID generated in OP

  3. OMNIPARCEL CARRIER NAME (mandatory)
    Please enter the OP carrier name EXACTLY as it’s entered in OP. Make sure there is no spaces at the start or end

  4. HUB (mandatory)
    Add all the hubs this carrier will be used at

  5. RETURN INSTRUCTIONS - (non-mandatory)
    If custom drop off instructions are required, enter up to x4 more steps in the boxes provided. The first instruction is ALWAYS “Your Return Label will be emailed to you with further instructions, or you can download below.”

    If no return instructions are required, leave blank and the default instructions will be used

  6. Click Submit
