Manual outbound consignment creation
The manual consignment creation screen within OmniParcel allows the user to manually create consignments one by one.
Go to “Outbound & Export” under the “Create” menu option.
This is how the screen looks when you first enter the page (this is also the page where OmniParcel will direct you by default when you log in to the system):
Editing sender details
If you need to edit the sender details, click on the “Sender : Site Name (Site ID)” field and the sender address details will expand.
Click on “Clear” to clear the fields.
Populate the now cleared fields with the required sender details:
Please ensure you only use pre-agreed sender details, as those are linked to how we process your parcels
Populate the receiver section with the recipient information:
Populate the required commodity (whats inside the package) and package (what the physical package looks like) details:
Click on “Calculate freight”:
The system will validate the fields you have entered. If any information is missing, the system will notify you through a pop-up error message, e.g.;
Click “OK”, adjust the required fields as per the error message, and click on “Calculate freight” again. If all validation checks are passed, the system will provide you with a list of available carriers and ther cost.
Click on “Go” next to your preferred option, and a label will be generated. If you are connected to a label printer, the label will also be printed automatically:
Note: A successfully created consignment will take approximately 20-30 minutes to appear in OmniParcel Tracking Portal.
