Flight Departed but no 1F in Nova

Problem

When flight departs the last foreign origin port, CBP sends FSN “1F” to CFS and airline. Flight already departed last foreign port but Nova is not showing 1F.

Troubleshooting

Please follow below steps for troubleshooting:

  1. Send FSQ/04 to confirm if CBP has sent 1F.  A possible response from CBP can include:

    • Notifications resent (1F should be resent)

    • Not authorized (Has the airline sent the MAWB nominating the CFS?  Sometimes a call needs to go out to the airline)

  2. If you are a customs broker, you can send a manifest query in ABI to see if the 1F is posted for this MAWB
