Not getting FSC 10 response from CBP

Problem

When airline files MAWB, we will receive FSC 10 message at HAWB level. There can be multiple reasons due to which we may not receive FSC 10.

Solution

FSC 10’s are not send by CBP in split shipment. To know whether the shipment is split, please follow below steps:

  1. Transmit AMS Query (FSQ - 01) at MAWB level. Please follow the below screenshot

  2. Within few minutes, you should receive FSC -02 message from CBP. If the shipment is split, it will show split details. The highlighted part shows the file is split

  3. Still no response, please call airline to confirm that MAWB is filed & SEKO is filed as the broker.
