5.5 Track & Trace Email setup
Setting up your custom track & trace email
In the SEKO OmniParcel platform select Administration > Track & Trace Emails.
Click ‘Add New’ and fill in the fields as shown below. Please see the field information on the below table.
Once all fields are filled, click ‘Save’.

Name | The name you are giving to this template (internal name only) | Yes |
Sender’s Name | Name of the person/company sending the freight - usually your business name | Yes |
Sending Email Address | A “from” email address for the email (to setup your personal email please contact your account manager), the default is noreply@omniparcel.com) | Yes |
Email Subject | Subject of the email being sent | Yes |
Is Enabled? | Select ‘Yes’ – this will enable the email to be sent. If this is set to ‘No’ the email will not be sent | Yes |
Is Default? | Select ‘Yes’ if this is the default template to be used | Yes |
Show Subscriber | This enables the retailer to display the “subscribe to tracking updates” text box on tracking portal. | Yes |
Email Notifications | Determines at which milestone stage the email will be sent to the customer There are 7 options available:
Note: If you want an email to be sent for each milestone stage, you will need to create multiple email templates. | Yes |
Email Body | The body of the email. Please customise as per your requirements.
There are placeholders on the right hand side that you can use to customise the template as needed. | Yes |
Logo Image | The company logo which will be used in ASN/Tracking Portal. Logo recommended height is 50PX and width is as per the design of logo but recommended max width limit is 350PX | No ( if no logo is uploaded, the OmniParcel logo will be used) |
Logo Click Link | This is the URL where users will be directed to when they click on the company logo | No |

4. Once you have created your email template and filled in all the details, make sure you have selected which emails should be deployed from the cost centre. Only templates that have been selected from the cost centre will be deployed even if ‘Is enabled’ is set to ‘yes’ in the track & trace email settings.
