The close truck function in JASCI is the last step in shipping/closing an order. This final step is when the documentation, BOL, prints and triggers the shipment confirmation to the client.

Once all orders have been loaded onto close truck the operator will follow the below steps:

• The operator will select ‘View Point Load’ on the desktop menu

• The operator will select the truck from the Screen and select ‘Close Truck’

  • If all orders were not loaded to ‘Truck’, JASCI will display an error ‘Not All Shipments Loaded’

• The operator will confirm ‘Close Truck’

• Lastly, JASCI process orders that were loaded onto the truck and generate the BOL/manifest to save and/or print.
