MAWB Discrepancy Board

When a MAWB has entered RECOVERED status, the system will then check the RED.NA rate against the Forward Air estimate. If this amount is equal, the job will be automatically prorated and finalized. If the EDI estimate amount is less, or below $5.00 more than the RED amount, than the RED amount will be over-ridden by the EDI estimate, prorated, and finalized.

When the estimate charges are $5.00 or more than the RED auto-calc amount, it will qualify as an exception.

• This will then populate on the MAWB Cost Exception Board. When a user goes into the MAWB they will have two options - to accept the carriers charges, or to override

• When override is selected the user will be prompted to provide an explanation, which will fall into the remarks, and they will have the ability to update the MAWB Charges.

• Accept will keep the current charges and finalize the MAWB.
