WMS - Directed Put Away (DPA) Guide
Directed Put Away Overview
Directed Put Away (DPA) is a technique used in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize the storage and transfer of goods within a Distribution Center. It ensures efficient inventory management, reduces costs, and enhances overall fulfillment processes in a warehouse setting
Seko360 Clients should request to activate Directed Put Away (DPA) on their account to be able to use this feature. This will allow DC to have special locations or identify best location for their products.
Best to have DPA activated if products are “fast-movers” , “Perishable”, “ Fragile” or “HazMat” products/goods.
