Mandatory FMC Compliance Requirements

Regarding:           FMC Compliance – Magaya – Tariff Rate Items (TRI)

Change:               Effective Friday March 31st, 2023

Attn:                     SEKO Ocean Operations

As communicated in our previous update, please find below a message regarding FMC compliance new steps within Magaya Rate Management Platform.

Effective Friday March 31st, 2023, all Tariff Rate Items (TRI) are to be completed within Magaya platform.

SEKO will no longer have access to CargoSphere platform for TRI creation as of Friday March 31st, 2023.

What is needed from you?

  1. Please ensure you have received your login for Magaya (Catapult). If you have not received your login, please reach out to Forrest Jordan (forrest.jordan@sekologistics.com) urgently.

All users with existing access to Cargosphere were issued logins to Magaya and training sessions have been underway all this week.

  1. Start issuing TRIs within Magaya. While Magaya platform is simplistic, do not wait for the cut off to learn the new system.

  1. Review training material : TRI work Instructions have been updated to account for new process in Magaya, attached. If preferred, training video can also be referenced

Magaya is a great platform and further development is taking place that will allow Magaya to be the one tool for FMC governance containing both TRIs and NRAs.

Further information will be shared once NRA development is complete.
